Send in entries for Baby
and Pet Photo Contest

      The Baby/Pet Photo Contest will again be sponsored by the Romeo Area Kiwanis Club and takes place over Labor Day weekend.
       However, those interested in submitting entries can begin doing it now. Final deadline is Aug. 24.
       Photos will be on display at 138 S. Main St. (in front of Keller & Associates) for voting beginning Aug. 31 through Sept. 2. Photos will be on display Monday, Sept. 3, but voting will be closed.
       Prizes will be awarded based upon the babies and pets with the most money votes. All proceeds are used for various local children's events and educational field trips, such as trips to Westview Orchards, scholarships, visits with Santa and help with food and clothes in times of need.
       Entries can be mailed to Romeo Post Office, Baby/Pet Photo Contest, 119 Church Street, Romeo, MI 48065, along with an entry form. The entry fee per child and per pet is $4 (make check payable to Romeo Kiwanis Club).
       Photos can be 8x10 in size or smaller. Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope for photo return.
       Entries can also be dropped off at Pat's II Jewelers, 64752 Van Dyke, where entry forms will also be available. An entry form can also be found on page 4-A of today's Romeo Observer.
