Candidates file
for Nov. election

      The ballot for non-partisan elected officials has been determined.
       According to the Macomb County Election Department, a total of five candidates have filed to compete for the three four-year trustee positions on the Village of Romeo Board of Trustees.
       Incumbents Russell Rinke and Ron Rossell are vying for re-election. Joining them on the November ballot is Christine Malzahn, Richard Seldon and Thom Stephens. Trustee Margaret Feldhus was not listed as running for re-election.
       For the Romeo Community Schools Board of Education, five candidates are competing for two six-year terms.
       Incumbent Gus Demas will be joined by Wayne Conner, II, Sebastian Previti, Lee Verbouw and Chris Young. Trustee Terry Davis did not file for re-election.
