Closings for Labor
Day are announced

      Local, county and state government offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 3, in observance of Labor Day.
       Closed will be the offices for Bruce, Ray and Washington townships and the Village of Romeo as well as Macomb County government business offices and courts. The Post Office will be closed on Monday and there will be no mail delivery. The Secretary of State will be closed on Monday and SUPER! Centers will be closed Saturday, Sept. 1, and Monday.
       Samaritan House will be closed Friday, Aug. 31, and Tuesday, Sept. 4, with normal hours resuming Wednesday, Sept. 5. The Neighbors Caring for Neighbors clinic will be closed Monday, Sept. 3.
       The Graubner and Kezar branches of the Romeo District Library will be closed Monday, Sept. 3.
       The Romeo Observer will be closed on Labor Day and will have early deadlines for the Sept. 5 edition. Editorial material (birth announcements, letters to the editor, etc.) and display advertising will be due noon, Thursday, Aug. 30. The deadline for real estate, classified display and service directory advertising will be noon, Friday, Aug. 31, while classified advertising will be due 3 p.m., Friday.
