Trick-or-Treating
before Halloween

      Kids can get a jump on the goodie-gathering fun this weekend in Romeo and Washington Township.
       Businesses in downtown Romeo are inviting all ghosts and ghouls for trick-or-treating fun at their stores from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
       Following the event will be a free party in the Village Park that includes a costume contest, DJ and petting farm.
       The same night, vehicles will be transformed into front porches during Trunk or Treat, held 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Gilcher-Crissman Park. Kids can walk to each participating vehicle to collect candy and other treats. Each vehicle must pass out its own candy. Adults are permitted to barbecue and tailgate during the event.
