Absentee voter
ballots available

Voters expecting to be away during the Nov. 6 election can still request absentee ballots.
Residents can pick up and submit applications for absentee voter ballots at their local clerk's office to have their ballots mailed to them. The deadline to submit an application will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Individuals can request an absentee ballot for the following reasons: Unable to vote without assistance; are age 60 or older; will be absent from your city or township on election day; are in jail, awaiting arraignment or trial; assigned to work as a precinct inspector or are unable to attend the polls due to religious beliefs.
Eligible voters can also vote absentee in person until 4 p.m. at their local clerk's office on Nov. 5.
