Tickets on saleFor years they were the lifeblood of the Romeo area, supporting generations of those who came before us. As time passed, the people of this area began to look outside the community and these former buildings of service were repurposed to serve in new ways.
for barn tour
On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Romeo Historical Society will host its first barn tour. Titled "What can you do with a Barn?" the self-guided tour runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features nine barns that answer this question.
They include a home, "man cave," museum, a place to throw parties and more.
Tickets are on sale now and cost $8 if purchased before Sept. 21, $10 on the day of the tour, $5 for children ages 6-12, with children under 6 free.
