Society seekingThe Armada Agricultural Society is seeking nominations for Miss Armada 2013.
The ideal candidate should have interpersonal skills, be friendly and polite, outgoing, be a good role model and love her community.
As former queens and courts have experienced, Miss Armada and her court are liaisons between other communities and Armada. The girls represent not only the Armada Fair, but the village and township of Armada. It is an unforgettable experience for all who participate.
Candidates must be between the ages of 17 and 24 and must live within or have attended the Armada School District. They may be home-schooled or attend private schools as long as they live within the Armada School District boundaries.
This year's pageant will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, March 28, in the Armada High School auditorium.
Nomination forms are due no later than Friday, March 7, while applications may be turned in through Friday, March 21. Candidates need not be nominated to apply.
Nomination forms and applications are available at the Armada High School office, the Armada Fair office during normal business hours, or by visiting the fair website at armadafair.org. For information call (586) 784-5488.
