Share your bucket list on library chalk boardThe Romeo District Library is interested in what you would like to do before you die.
The community is invited to share their "bucket list" on a chalk board at the Graubner Library and be entered in a chance to win the book "Before I Die" by Candy Chang.
Chang lost someone she loved and went through a long period of grief and depression, contemplating death. She needed a daily reminder of what was important to the people around her. She painted the side of an abandoned house with chalkboard paint and stenciled "Before I die I want to ___." Anyone walking by could pick up a piece of chalk and share their personal aspirations in public space.
The chalk board is in place in the Graubner lobby and will continue to the start of the Summer Reading Program on June 16. It will also spend some time at the Kezar Library. The drawing for the book will be held Monday, June 16.
