Volunteers sought
Washington Township officials and DTE Energy are looking for volunteers to help grow crops for needy families.DTE Energy is cultivating land to grow fresh crops, which will in turn be donated to the Gleaners Community Food Bank. The goal is to raise a total of 30,000 pounds of food through 10 sites, having recently expanded six of them.for DTE garden The gardens are located in Allen Park, Auburn Hills, Birmingham, Farmington Hills, Plymouth Township, Southfield, South Lyon, Washington Township and Westland.
