DDA ratifies new
director & hours

      The Romeo Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has ratified its new employee and her hours.
       The DDA voted 6-0 on May 2 to changes made by the Village Council for its employment agreement with its part-time DDA director, Kim Hale.
       DDA board member Jason Arnott abstained from the vote, while DDA Secretary and Village President Mike Lee was not present.
       The DDA also approved the office hours for the director for Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
       In addition, the DDA agreed to turn over payroll duties to its treasurer, saving around $400 to process Hale's information.
       The DDA offices are located at 134 W. St. Clair Street.
