Ballot language
in WT approved

The ballot language in Washington Township for the August election was approved May 2 during a Board of Trustees meeting.
The board agreed on the language for the renewal of the Park and Recreation millage, renewal of the Senior Citizen Transportation (STAR) millage and renewal of the police protection millage.
The police millage doesn't expire until 2014 and will last until 2017. Supervisor Dan O'Leary said they can vote on this now so a special election won't be needed in the future for this renewal.
