Cemetery given
$1,500 donation

Bruce Township's only cemetery that has its own board to maintain the grounds was granted $1,500 by the Township Board.
Stephen Farr, Bruce Cemetery Association board president, requested the money for maintenance and care of the cemetery at the board's May 16 meeting. The donation was unanimously approved.
The cemetery is located on the southwest corner of Taft and Fisher roads, south of the Ford Proving Grounds.
