Christmas card contestCSB Bank has announced three student winners of their CSB Christmas Card Contest.
winners are announced
"We wanted to do something special for our Christmas cards this year, so we partnered with the school districts in each of our markets and ran a contest for the art students," said Mike Burke, bank president. "We asked them to design a card based on the theme 'A Perfect Christmas.'"
The bank received more than 500 entries and employees voted on the winner in three categories: high school, junior high/middle school and elementary school. The winning artwork is featured on three different cards that the bank will send out with holiday wishes this year. Each winning artist received $100.
"The winners were so excited and proud to be chosen," said Tamra Bentley, head of retail banking for CSB. "It was great to work with our school districts on this project. There are a lot of talented artists in our area."
The winners were:
High school, Rebecca Greenman, 10th-grader at Imlay City High School; junior high/middle school, Andrea Jones, eighth-grader at Armada Middle School; and elementary, Zachary Thompson, fourth-grader at Almont Orchard Primary.
