Ray Township is looking to sell property on New Haven Road that it acquired through tax reversion.Observer Special Writer The property was originally purchased by the township in July 2011. Supervsor Charlie Bohm said to date the total cost of the property, including purchase price and other expenses, has been $5,119. The parcel is less than 1 acre and currently holds a barn on the property. At the Ray Township Board of Trustees meeting on Jan 22, the board decided to move forward with advertising for the sale of the property. No minimum bid has been set, said Bohm. A meeting date will be held with prospective bidders of the property. A date has not been set as of yet. |
