DANCE CLASSES AT PARKS & RECThe Romeo-Washington-Bruce Parks and Recreation Department offers dance classes for adults. East coast swing dance classes will be held from 7-8 p.m. for six weeks beginnng Monday, Jan. 5, or Monday, March 9. Ballroom dance will be held for six weeks on the same dates from 8-9 p.m. Both classes will be held at the Washington Center. No partner is needed. SNOWFLAKE SOCIAL WINE TASTING
The Shelby Township Community Foundation will hold their annual fundraiser from 6-8:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16, at Palazzo Grande Banquet Center at 54660 Van Dyke. The event will feature the Four Seasons of Michigan foods with accompanying white and red wines. Light entertainment, a 50/50 raffle and silent auction will be available. CHURCH OFFERS FREE MOVIE
The River Worship Center in Romeo will show the movie Father of Lights at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17. The documentary discusses some misconceptions surrounding God the Father and journeys through the nature of grace, taking on the religious spirit and showing encounters with God. SPECIAL NEEDS BOWLING
Romeo-Washington-Bruce Parks & Recreation will hold Romeo Rollers drop in bowling for special needs from 4-5:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8-April 30, at Summit Bowling Center. The ongoing weekly drop-in bowling league is for people with mental or physical disabilities and their caregivers. Each night icludes up to three games, shoes, ball, pizza and pop. No instruction will be given, this is for recreational purposes only. Summit Bowling is located at 66600 Van Dyke in Washington. For information call 586-752-6543.
