The Bulldog Middle Swim Team started off its season with overwhelming wins over Kennedy Middle School from Lakeshore.starts season with wins The Bulldog team is comprised of swimmers and divers from both Romeo Middle School and Powell Middle School. The 6th grade team defeated Kennedy by a score of 62-37. The 7th/8th grade team defeated Kennedy by a score of 112-35. Scoring points for the 6th grade team were Rachel Dancey (P), Natalie Ferguson (P), Juliana Bonetti (R), Kayla Yax (R), Macy Manchester (R), Taylor Belyea (P), Tyler Klein (R), and Nicole Daigle (R). Highlights for the 6th grade team were four first place finishes each by Natalie Ferguson and Macy Manchester. Scoring points for the 7th/8th grade team were Emily Rawlings (R), Brooke Corey (R), Natalie Krzemecki (R), Jacob Yestrepsky (R), Alyvia Anaple (R), Jake Anderson (P), Cole Lightcap (P), Jarod Nevitt (R), Phillip Harrell (P), Madeline Mattice (R), Nikki Mulder (P), Jacob Bart (P), Erin Silverthorn (P), Scott Perry (R), Brandon Page (P), Tyler Marcinkewciz (R), Carlie Bailey (P), Rebecca Daigle (R) and Anna Rowley (P). Highlights for the 7th/8th grade team included Natalie Krzemecki's new team records in the 200 yard freestyle, 2:08.01 and the 100 yard Individual Medley, 1:08.66. The Bulldogs compete again at 6 p.m., Thursday against the team from Fraser at home. |
