PMS volleyball results . . .

      The Powell Middle School eighth grade volleyball team beat Algonquin (25-19, 25-12, 24-26) on Thursday, Oct. 4 to bring their record to 4-0.
       The girls beat L'Anse Creuse North, 25-9, 25-18, 25-16, on Monday, Oct. 1.
       Ally Bauer served nine aces in a row and was 10 for 12 serving aces in game one. Maddy Collins, Allison Temple, Courtney Pichette and Ally Malcom all served multiple aces in the second game. Kamryn Hugo and Nikki Mulder served four aces each as back to back servers in game three to give Powell a 15-3 lead.
       The team beat Anchor Bay North 25-15, 25-15, 25-20 on Thursday, Sept. 27.
       Krystal Radzitowski and Collins led in aces in game one. Kassidy Simpson led in aces in game two. Taylor Timoszyk and Mulder led the team in aces in game three.
