RMS football results . . .

      The Romeo Middle School football teams opened their season against L'Anse Creuse South on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
       The eighth grade team won 26-6. Tyler Walker scored on a 32-yard touchdown run, and Kyle Finos scored on a four-yard touchdown run. Joey Schneider scored on a 65-yard pass from Austen Malczewski. Malczewski also had a two-point conversion and Austin Ventimiglio had an interception.
       The seventh grade team won 8-6. Nathan Banach scored on a 25-yard run and threw a two-point conversion. Evan Smith caught the extra point. The entire defense played outstanding.
       The eighth grade team beat Algonquin 24-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
       Walker had a 90-yard touchdown and Schneider had a 40-yard touchdown catch from Malczewski. Finos had a 40-yard touchdown. Chase Arendts, Walker and Schneider each had a two-point conversion. Defense was led by Bryan Carie, Blake Blaisdell and Zach Palmer.
       The seventh grade team saw a 0-6 loss to Algonquin to bring their record to 1-1.
