`Friends' hosts
holiday auction

      Grab a basket to get a jump on the holiday season at the Graubner Library.
       The Friends of the Romeo District Library is hosting a Holiday Basket Auction fundraiser, ending 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. The silent auction asks bidders to place a bid on their favorite basket that beats the previous bid by at least $1.
       Winners will be called to pick up their baskets following the end of the auction. The baskets can be picked up on Nov. 18 after 1 p.m. or on Nov. 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
       The baskets are located in the lobby of the Graubner Library. For more information, call (586) 752-0603.
