Prep volunteers
needed for drive

The 20th Annual NALC Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive will be held Saturday, May 12.
United States Postal Service letter carriers will deliver paper bags to mailboxes. Residents are asked to place non-perishable food in the bag and place it next to their mailbox before the carrier delivers mail that day.
After the bags are collected, volunteers from the Knights of Columbus and River of God Community Church will unload the postal trucks, sort donations and prepare them for needy families. The food is delivered to the area food pantry, Agape Center at St. Clement of Rome church.
On Saturday, April 28, a Preparation Party to prep the food drive bags for delivery will be held from 2-6 p.m., at the Romeo Post Office, 119 Church Street, Romeo. Volunteers are needed.
