Feb. 14 luncheon
all about heart

      Spend some time on Valentine's Day learning about the holiday's top organ and symbol of love.
       The Business Women Connection of the Greater Romeo-Washington Chamber of Commerce is hosting the "Go Red" Valentine Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 14.
       The keynote speaker, Stephanie Strahl, is a resident nurse working in noninvasive cardiology with Beaumont Health system, and will speak on the warning signs of a heart attack and information on what should be done to prevent one.
       Beaumont Health states that heart disease is the number one killer of women in America, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer.
       The luncheon will also give women a chance to enjoy services from local vendors, including massages, blood pressure checks, hair tips and more.
       Tickets are $30 per person, with $5 of the ticket price going to the American Heart Association. Call (586) 752-4436 for more information.
       Sponsors include Action Advantage Group, Anytime Fitness, Beaumont Hospital, Real Living Kee Realty, Northend Tax and Accounting Service and Romeo Jewelry.
