Women of all ages are invited to The Seasons of Womanhood: A Focus on Health, a half-day retreat offering health information, self-improvement and rejuvenating activities.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, April 13, at Skyline Camp and Retreat Center in Almont.
Author and psychologist Regina Bowden, Ph.D., will deliver the keynote address titled Be True to Yourself - The Keys to Personal Happiness.
A variety of workshops presented by local experts will offer information on healthy cooking, financial health and women's health issues. Participants will be introduced to Skyline Center's outdoor facilities including a labyrinth and hiking trails. Locally produced herbal soaps, lotions, fragrances and body scrubs will be displayed.
The fee is $25 an includes continental breakfast and lunch. An optional pre-event will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, April 12. An additional $50 covers overnight accommodations and hot breakfast.
