Shelter to hold
ribbon cutting

Turning Point, Macomb County's only domestic violence and sexual assault shelter, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 6, to inaugurate their new 50 bed, 12,000 square foot protective housing facility.
Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel will participate.
Located at 225 S. Main Street in Mount Clemens, the facility will provide 13 handicap accessible suites, nine with in-suite baths, a playground, state-of-the-art security and a family focused living environment.
Following the ceremony, tours of the new facility will be offered from 1-6:30 p.m.
