Questers kick off
its Basket Raffle
The Indian Village Questers have kicked off their annual Christmas Basket Raffle, the only fundraiser held by the group to support their mission of historic preservation projects in the Romeo area.
In the past, the group of 20 women have worked on and donated money to the Romeo Historical Museum's gardens and kitchen as well as the Starkweather Arts Center's garden and renovation of their kitchen.
This year's two themed baskets are full of gifts for two winners. The Pampered Lady Basket includes a two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lapeer and the Gifts for All Seasons Baskets includes four seasonal gift collections in one basket.
Tickets are available at Two Romeo Girls, The Urban Merchant, Connelly's Creation and the Starkweather Arts Center. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
The drawing will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
