WBRW to hold unemployment workshops


      WBRW-TV and Michigan Community Media will be holding a workshop series for those looking for a job. The Unemployment Workshop Series is open to all residents of Bruce, Washington and Romeo for free. It is also free to anyone showing a current Unemployment ID card or recent UIA check stub. It is a $5 donation for residents outside of the area that WBRW serves.
       Each class will be taught by a professional and will last approximately 90 minutes, beginning at 7 p.m. in the cable studio located at 8100 Wicker Street, Washington.
       The class schedule will be:
       Sept. 9, Using Social Media to Find a Job
       Oct. 7, How To Use the Internet When Looking for Work
       Nov. 10, Resume Writing Made Easy
