WT grant to pay
for waste study

      Washington Township has been awarded a $600,000 grant that will pay for any studies and cleaning to the township's waste system.
       The township will be responsible for only 10 percent of the cost.
       The township's engineering firm, Giffels-Webster, put together the S2 grant in February. Per the terms of the grant, construction of a project must begin within three years of when a study was conducted.
