A $10 million project will move into the next phase of the approval process.Medilodge forward The Village of Romeo Planning Commission has recommended final site plan approval for the Romeo Medilodge Planned Unit Development (PUD). Commissioners approved of the site plan at their June 21 meeting. Village Clerk Marian McLaughlin said they suggested adjustments to the plan such as additional trees and fire lanes being marked. The plan will go before the Village Board of Trustees once again. Trustees gave the site plan a unanimous vote of approval at their June 18 meeting as part of the PUD process. The development calls for a 66,515 square foot building with 93 beds in private and semi-private rooms. It would be located in the southeast quadrant of the village near Railroad, Haddam, Spring and Denby streets. |
