The first building in a significant medical campus development has received approval.Romeo OK'd The Bruce Township Board of Trustees voted 5-0 on Sept. 19 to the special land use request and site plan for Regency of Romeo to build a 57,700 square foot skilled nursing center at 33 Mile and McKay roads. Developers said they hope to break ground by fall and have the center open by August 2013. The facility will hold 106 beds for patients recovering from long-term illness or medical procedures. The request and site plan received approval from the Planning Commission at a special meeting held Sept. 12. |
