Management of
deer closes park

      Addison Oaks County Park will be closed on selected dates in November and December to implement the park system's long-standing deer management program.
       Managed hunts are part of Oakland County Parks and recreation's Natural Resources Management Program that focuses on an ecosystem approach to ensuring the health and function of park natural communities.
       Addison Oaks County Park in Leonard will be closed from noon to sunset on Nov. 15, 20, 27, 29 and Dec. 11 and 13. The conference and banquet center will be open for conference and banquet business only. Call (248) 693-8305.
