Unexplained blasts have Bruce Township residents scratching their heads over the source of the noises.heard in Bruce Supervisor Richard Cory said the township has received phone calls of residents hearing "booms" throughout the township, with one of the most recent incidents occurring around 5 p.m. on Jan. 14. Cory said one resident reported their windows rattled and the snow fell from their roof due to the blast's concussion. He said the township has contacted DTE Energy, Ford and the local fire department about the sounds, but none of them had an answer. "Let's try and figure out what it is," Cory said. "Someone is going to get hurt if it's that big of a thing." |
