Fifteen acres off Mound Road just south of the entrance to the Stratford subdivision in Washington Township will be rezoned to allow for a residential development.Observer Special Writer The Board of Trustees voted Jan. 23 to approve the rezone request at the Planning Commission's recommendation. Their vote allows for the property to be rezoned from an A-1, which is agricultural, to the residential R-1C. Supervisor Dan O'Leary said the rezoning and development is within what the Master Plan for the township envisions. There is no site plan yet for the project, only a single road where 30 homes could be developed. |
