Bruce heads toThe Bruce Township Board of Trustees will go to court to dispute the denial of a 200-foot tower.
The board voted 5-0 at its Oct. 16 meeting to have the Siebert and Dloski law firm represent the township during the appeal of a Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) decision filed by Solvaris, Inc. The case will be held in the Macomb County Circuit Court.
The Bruce Township-based Solvaris is appealing a denial by the ZBA to allow it to install a 200-foot Internet tower on township property, which is 25 feet above township limits. The ZBA issued the denial based on preserving rural atmosphere.
