Village checks
real estate sales

The sales of two Village of Romeo properties have been paused due to concerns from citizens and a need for information.
Residents have spoken against the splitting or sale of roughly three-acre property on First Street. In an effort to maintain greenspace, the Village Planning Commission approved of a resolution to recommend that the property become a park.
Village President Mike Lee said further research needs to be conducted on the rules for selling the fire hall on S Rawles Street, such as waiting six weeks to gather bids.
