Superintendent Nancy Campbell said instructors Ann-Marie Kedzierski, Patricia Clark and Ronald LeBlanc were chosen by staff, parents and students to be Romeo's Macomb County Teacher of the Year nominees.
"It's truly a high honor, and I thank them for all that they do," Campbell said.
Each year, the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD) asks schools to select a teacher from each level -- elementary, middle and high school. To qualify, teachers must be a full-time instructor in Macomb County and have at least five years of classroom teaching experience.
Kedzierski is an instructor at Indian Hills Elementary, while Clark teaches at Romeo Middle School. LeBlanc is the marketing instructor at the Romeo Engineering and Technology Center.
All nominees throughout the county were honored at a ceremony held April 24 by the MISD.
