WT cracks down onWashington Township is requiring a historic attraction to adhere to safety regulations.
The township is asking the Octagon House to comply with fire and building regulations with its barns or else it will be issued a violation.
Supervisor Dan O'Leary said this has been an issue since October, and could cause safety problems if activities continue to be held in the barns. He said the Octagon House also needs to apply for zoning permits to hold certain events.
The item is expected to be discussed at the Washington Township Board of Trustees meeting on June 4.
